ECH Institute is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in 2024 that serves as neutral coordination and education infrastructure for the Ethereum protocol. Originating as a volunteer collective in 2019, ECH Institute now formalizes that work to provide institutional credibility, transparent financial reporting, and a long-term mandate for ecosystem support. Our core work focuses on supporting Ethereum governance through: (1) Neutral coordination of All Core Devs (ACD) calls and meeting documentation. (2) Streamlining the Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) process via EIPIP office hours. (3) Producing high-impact educational content like PEEPanEIP and upgrade guides.
